Downloading software.

I am new to freespire. I just installed Linux freespire XP 2008 and am learning how to use it. A lot of the software will not down load. Out of the burners they list only K3b burner will download and install. What am i doing wrong. I would like to know.

I do not know this 'Linux freespire XP 2008'. Is it actually Freespire?

I bought it off ebay. It is freespire It has It written in the sceen. It was sold to me as the newest version but i saw a newer version . I dont know really im new to this, im used to Windows.

I found the ebay listing. Looks like 1.0.13. The CNR client/cnr.com service will not work with that version yet.

It has the older 'legacy' cnr already installed. That should work, but you will have to create an account.

I would, honestly, recommend REMOVING that from your system as god knows what's on it.


Download the CORRECT version of Freespire from www.freespire.org.

Thanks men I,ve never got this kind of support for Windows. You were right abought It being an old version, this version took longer to install like it had more to it. I've done installed some software. Now how do I Uninstall software I do not want. I also want to thank omgitskimko for the tip on where to get The right version.

For the legacy CNR, on the My Products tab, highlight tthe app and click the uninstall button.

You may need to check the Developer, Library, and Core products in the View drop down menu then restart CNR first to have them show on the My Products tab.
