Intermittent sign in problem?

For several days now cnr has been iffy! Signins in particular. Been trying for about an hour to sign in with no luck. Was trying with seamonkey, then switched to konqueror and instantly signed in. Go figure.

Question is... is this problem me? the distro? (Kubuntu 7.10, am currently installing and configuring, adding apps, etc.) OR, is it a problem on the CNR server? Or a combination of the above?

Maybe clear cookies and cache?

The blatant signin problem seems not to still be.
