I've been in contact with support personel about removal from the newsletter mailing list, but that seems to be a big problem! Before you ask: yes, I've removed my email address from the newsletter subscription in my profile. This is not about that subscription. I'm talking about the type of subscription I got when I signed up as interested for news about when CNR would be released. That mailinglist for us earlybirds. And this subscription I can't manage myself. Problem is, CNR can't either. They don't know what I'm talking about and do nothing. Only thing they can provide is the same lame answer over and over: "You can change the subscription in your profile."

So I think I'll maybe write an article in my blog wuth the headline: "CNR.com, spammer for the unfortunate interested"

How does that sound? ]:)

All of those early email subscriptions were imported into the management system so that they could be unsubscribed. I am frustrated that you were told otherwise. Was the mailer you received the CNR Newletter or some other promotion? I would like to know so that I can make sure this has been taken care of.

I just got a message from support saying I am unsubscribed from all mailing lists, so maybe it's fixed now. We'll see. If it works, and I know I can control this myself, I may even subscribe again later through my profile options.

@ BigDawg: It was the ordinary Newsletter. When I was subscribed through my profile email, I got two identical Newsletters - one for the profile email and one for the earlybird email. Maybe it is because those were two different email addresses that caused the confusion? I don't know.

The original issue of rendering in Thunderbird, correct? Using Version version 2.0.0.6 and it displays normally, could there be a better version than the build causing the anomaly (what version of Freespire is installed)?
