I run Kubuntu.

  • I've downloaded CNR client,

  • Right clicked and opened with GDebi Package Installer,

It seems to install but then I CAN'T find it! It's not in the menu and I don't know where it was put in the hard drive. It's like it's not there.

Do you know of a successfull/running KUBUNTU install?

First try installing:
  • libdb4.4
  • libqtcore4
  • libqtgui4
Then Log out then back in
Results in a CNR Icon on the desktop and in the Launch menu under System; however,

There appears to be a dbus issue (at least on K8.04 using my machine) that doesn't exist on stock ubuntu...

Not sure if it helps, but I have it running for Kubuntu 7.10 without issue.
